For your first introductory rides, any roadworthy bike is fine. Child seats, basket and chunky tyres are okay for this stage in your cycling career.
eBikes are also welcome.
Non-members are invited to come along for a couple of rides before joining.
Ride sensibly and observe the Highway Code - just common sense. We want everyone to have a good time and be safe.
In the winter, fit mudguards - keeps both you and anyone near you clean!
Carry ID with you.
We ask riders to wear a helmet.
Team Glow has Cycling UK Insurance cover for ride leaders - this covers our ride leaders in case of a claim arising from our own negligence. A ride leader who wants to rely on the insurance must be a paid member.
You are assumed to have agreed to our terms and conditions. You can download a copy from the Membership page.
